Interpreter Training and Professional Development
The Tennessee Language Center is a leader in offering and developing the best training. Simply being bilingual does not qualify you to be an interpreter. Courts, hospitals, schools and businesses have begun to recognize this as requirements for interpreters have become more and more professionalized over the last several years.
Responsible interpreters like you who invest in ongoing professional development and certifications realize your investment will pay off not only in peace of mind and increased confidence, but also more work opportunities and better pay. For example, in Tennessee, a certified Spanish court interpreter is paid twice as much as a non-credentialed court interpreter.
We hope you find our training opportunities and professional resources helpful as you work to advance in your career.
