English Classes

TN Language Center offers four main courses: Introductory, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Courses run in cycles of twelve weeks with one hour and thirty minute class per week. Therefore, students meet for a total of 18 hours each cycle.  Students are encouraged to continue with their course after each cycle.

Cost of Classes

Students must pay $195 for each cycle of class. There is also a one-time $30 materials fee for the student textbook and binder.

For example: Cycle = 12 weeks = 18 hours of class = $195

Consultations

Students must have a consultation with an ESL department team member prior to registering for classes. Consultations consist of a placement test to determine which course is best for the prospective student. Consultations cost $30 and are available by appointment only, which are on a first-come first-served basis. Students must call in advance to schedule placement tests.

Private English classes are the best choice if you need intensive custom instruction.  If you are a professional, college student, wish to become a college student, or are in the United States for a limited time – custom classes are the option for you!

Private English classes are designed around the student’s availability and instructional needs.  They may be held at TLC’s office or at an offsite location for an additional mileage premium.
