English Instructors
Meet our English instructors.
Levels
- Beginner English: Build a strong foundation in the English language, focusing on essential vocabulary and basic communication skills.
- Intermediate English: Expand your proficiency with more complex language structures and in-depth conversations.
- Advanced English: Fine-tune your language skills for academic and professional success. Specialized courses are available for those seeking advanced proficiency.
Class Structure
- Online: Meets once per week for 12 weeks. Each class is one-and-a-half hours.
- In-person: Meets once per week for six weeks. Each class is three hours.
Cost
- $225 for each 12-week cycle
- One-time $30 materials fee for the student textbook and binder
Registration
Students must meet with an ESL department team member before registering for classes. Consultations consist of a placement test to determine which course is best for the student. Consultations cost $30 and are available by appointment only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must call in advance to schedule placement tests.

Private English classes are the best choice for intensive, custom instruction. They are a great option if you are a professional, college student, wish to become a college student or are in the United States for a limited time.
Private classes are designed around students' availability and instructional needs. They may be held at TLC’s office or at an off-site location for an additional fee.
