  • Language testing for specific skills and proficiency levels

History

The organization began in 1986 when the Tennessee State Legislature created the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute. The name was changed to the Tennessee Language Center when we became part of the Institute for Public Service in 2018, and the legislation was amended.
