Group Class Pricing and Materials

Visit our course catalog to see a full list of classes and prices. Some materials are included in the price. If you need to purchase additional materials, that information will be in the course description.

Discounts

15% Discounts

TLC offers a 15% discount on all group world language classes. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts offered by TLC. Discounts are available to:

  • Government agency employees in the U.S., other than the state of Tennessee
  • Non-profit employees
  • K-12 school teachers
  • High school or higher education students
  • Active military/veteran with verifiable service participation
  • Seniors 60 years or older
  • Librarians working in a Tennessee public library
  • Members of JAST

Fee Waivers

TLC accepts fee waivers for all group world language classes. The following individuals may use a fee waiver for one class per semester:

  • Full-time employees of the state of Tennessee
  • Any employee who receives a paycheck issued by the Tennessee Board of Regents and the University of Tennessee

To use a fee waiver form:

  1. Download and print a Board of Regents Fee Waiver Form.
  2. Fill out the questionnaire. Choose the audit option.
  3. Upload the completed and signed form at the State Employee Fee Waiver Intake.

To use a fee waiver form:

  1. Download and print a State Fee Waiver Form.
  2. Fill out the form, and choose the audit option. The form may be signed electronically.
  3. Upload the completed and signed form at the State Employee Fee Waiver Intake. 


After uploading your form:

  1. We will contact you to confirm that we’ve received your form and issue a coupon code. 
  2. Go to our course registration site and browse the online catalog. Choose your desired language course. 
  3. On the right side of the page, click Purchase to begin the registration process.
  4. Create an account using your preferred email address to receive information and updates about your class.

  1. Classes must have at least four students paying full price before an individual can join with a fee waiver.
  2. Classes are capped at 12 students. Classes without adequate enrollment are subject to closure or cancellation.
  3. If a class reaches capacity and is closed to further enrollment, or is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, we will notify you with alternative class options. Please make sure to write legibly.
  4. Your fee waiver request form will be processed within five days of submission.

Partial Scholarships

The Rasmussen Scholarship Program provides partial scholarships for group language classes up to 50% of the total tuition. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts offered by TLC.

Please review the term calendar and ensure you submit your scholarship materials at least two weeks before the start of classes so your application can be processed.
